Flipper Season 2 Episode 2 “Dolphin in Pursuit Part 1″ (Part 1 of 2)
This 2-part episode starts out with Porter taking Sandy and Bud for some father/son time when they head out to a deserted island for a camping trip. While heading to the island, Porter receives a message through the radio that a man has escaped from the local penitentiary and could be armed and dangerous. Meanwhile, the three learn that Ulla the Oceanographer is heading to the Bahamas in her submarine for a vacation of her own. When Porter and the boys get to the island and go exploring, the escaped convict steals their boat, and Porter and the boys are left on the deserted island without any supplies! Flipper goes after the escaped convict in the boat, but the crook ends up stealing Ulla’s submarine! A young Burt Reynolds plays the role of the escaped convict.
