There are however a couple of movies starring Clint Eastwood that had an orangutan named Clyde riding around with him in his pick-up truck. They were "Every Which Way But Loose" and the sequel "Any Which Way You Can". Both of them have the same best friend, the orangutan, and Sandra Locke, whom Clint Eastwood does, more or less, pickup on-the-road in both movies. I loved both of them and they are both comedies.
